‘Safe and loving bosom, or dysfunctional sanity-crushers? Love ’em or hate ’em, families get under our skin. Let Future Perfect’s problem children entertain you with wild and bittersweet tales of motherly love, sibling rivalry and top survival tactics in a night of story, poetry and comedy.’

This time the theme is ‘The Future’: either songs about the future or songs that feel like the future. Stories can be set in 2525 or the end of next week: the choice is yours…
The best stories will be performed by the regular Jukebox Stories performers at the show on 10 May, held at London’s Poetry Cafe.
The best story of the night, as voted for by the audience, wins a unique Jukebox Story USB mixtape and gets published on the Future Perfect Writers website.
Stories must be no longer than 1,000 words and emailed to Future Perfect as a Word Doc file by 1 May.
Jukebox Stories’ special guest is one of ScriptTank’s long-standing members: Steve Keyworth – comedian, playwright and screenwriter for the BBC’s EastEnders, Doctors and Casualty).
