ScriptTank 23 January – Target Man by Mark Starling

For our first reading of 2018 on 23 January, we will be hearing Target Man by Mark Starling – one of ScriptTank’s new members.

Target Man follows the story of two professional footballers, both at different stages of their career and lives, and both with secrets. Young star Connor Woodhouse is promoted to the first team at his club and befriends experienced professional Joel Nelson. But when Connor’s new agent proposes something life-changing, he is faced with a big decision. Target Man follows Connor and Joel on both their public and private journeys, exploring themes of identity, mental strength, and the dangers of ambition.

Please arrive at 6.45pm for a 7pm start.
