The official trailer for The Survivalist – the debut feature film of ScriptTank member Stephen Fingleton – has been released.

Stephen brought two drafts of scripts for The Survivalist to ScriptTank for feedback, before going on to direct it to critical acclaim.

Last year The Survivalist has earned Stephen awards at the British Independent Film Awards (two of them), Tribeca Film Festival, Catalonian International Film Festival, the Zurich Film Festival, as well as a nomination for a BAFTA for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer. And one of the film’s lead actors, Mia Goth, also won a Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Award.

The scripts were both emotionally devastating thrillers, and we can guarantee that Stephen’s film is even more powerful.

The Survivalist will be released in cinemas and on-demand in the UK on 12 February.
