ScriptTank’s next reading on 1 December will be The Anonymous Alcoholic – a feature script by Alain Kramer.
Rita Mills is surprised to discover that she is named as a beneficiary in the will of her recently deceased alcoholic “neighbour from hell”, Keith Tilroy. In Keith’s diary, she finds a fragmented account of his family life, friends and relationship with her. But one mystery of is past is missing. A part that might have triggered his spiral of self-destruction. Finding friends that knew him, lead Rita to his hometown in Yorkshire where she discovers a shocking secret.
The evening starts at 6:45 for a 7pm start at the readings are held upstairs at The Wheatsheaf pub, at 25 Rathbone Place, London, W1T 1DG.
There is a £3 fee for all members attending the reading.

Due to the loss of our old home, ScriptTank’s meetings will now be held at The Wheatsheaf pub (25 Rathbone Place, London, W1T 1DG).
Because we took off October, in order to search for the new home, there will only be two more meetings this year.
On 1 December, we will be hearing a screenplay by Alain Kramer and 15 December will be a shorts night and our traditional Christmas party afterwards.

Successful film director, Nick Drake and his star actress girlfriend, Liz Scott, is invited for the weekend by his old and now retired university film professor, David Jenkins and wife Suzie to their remote country retreat. After an evening of much feasting boozing and campfire stories the next day David makes Nick an offer he daren’t refuse.
The evening starts at 6:45 for a 7pm start at the Blue Posts pub, Rupert Street. The nearest tubes are Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus.
