At the next ScriptTank meeting, we will hear Two Weddings, a TV pilot by Katharine Way.
Sharon and Dave are the most competitive brother and sister ever. A couple of months before Sharon is to marry Gareth, their Nan, who has always sorted them out, drops dead. And dear old gran has £4 million in her will which no one knew about, and leaves it to ‘The happy couple’ but doesn’t name them. As Dave proposes to his boyfriend, but Nan has left a series of tasks designed to make brother and sister get along. But will it all end in tears?
Two Weddings is a pilot for a half-hour TV comedy.
As this is a 30-minute script, we may also hear another short script by Gary, if time allows.
The studio will be open from 7pm, but the reading will start at 7.30pm so the room can be set up.
If you’d like to bring guests to this reading, please let Katharine and Richard know.
