The Writers’ Guild of Great Britain (WGGB) is hosting a panel of playwrights, to speak about their careers and the business of writing for the theatre.
The panel features playwrights Bryony Lavery, Ali Taylor and Charlene James.
The panel will talk about establishing and maintaining a career as a playwright, whether labelling new and veteran playwrights helps or harms their careers and changes in the theatre industry.
The panel discussion will be chaired by playwright Poppy Corbett.
The panel discussion will be followed by drinks – everyone attending with get one free.
The event is free for WGGB members, and £10 for non-members (£5 concessions). Tickets are available via Eventbrite, which will charge a processing fee.
The event takes place on Monday, 12 June, 8-10pm at St Alban’s Centre, 18 Brooke Street, London EC1N 7RD.
