One of ScriptTank’s members, Wendy Gill, is lucky enough to have one of her shows being put on in the glamorous location of The Hippodrome in Leicester Square.
Wendy’s musical, That Man, will have two performances at the Hippodrome on Tuesday, 20 September.
It’s 1957, and Chas puts his best friend Rick to the test when he suggests a wager, based upon winning the favours of Rosa, the singing star at London’s famous cabaret club, The Flamingo. When the wager backfires, Rick faces a dilemma. His pride and his position among his peer group force him to take a course of action in total conflict with his desires…
That Man features performances Jonny Labey (Eastenders), Sabrina Aloueche (We Will Rock You), Christoper Howell (Wicked), TreyeCohen (Lion King), Rhiannon Chesterman (Mrs Henderson Presents) and Kate England (To Kill a Mockingbird).
That Man’s director is the award-winning director Paul Boyd (Molly Wobbly), musical direction by Iain Vince-Gatt, and choreography by multi-award nominated Anthony Whiteman.
And it features the songs That Man, Liquid Lunch and A Night Like This, which have been popularised by the Dutch jazz singer Caro Emerald.
Tickets are available from the Hippodrome.
