30 October – Burning Bridges

Burning Bridges (Photographer John Pearson)

Burning Bridges is a stage play by David Blackwell.

Peggy reflects on her life and some of the decisions she’s made. She is jealous of her husband Jack who is happy to live his retirement out in his shed painting whilst life passes him by. With a dysfunctional family, she increasingly regrets some of the choices she has made and everything comes to a head with the visit of their daughter and only grandchild.

The evening starts at 6:45 for 7:00. ScriptTank returns to our regular home above the Blue Posts pub, Rupert Street, for this reading. The nearest tubes are Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus.
