Juke Box Story: Short stories wanted

Jukebox Story are once again looking for stories inspired by pop songs for their new show. This time the theme is ‘duets’. Who will you choose? Britney Spears and Will.I.Am? Aerosmith and Run DMC? What about Paul McCartney and a load of cartoon frogs? The possibilities are endless…

The best stories will be performed by Jukebox Story regulars Steve Keyworth and Stephanie Gerra at their new show on 21 February in Convent Garden’s Poetry Café.

The best story of the night as voted for by the audience wins a unique Jukebox Story USB mixtape and gets published on the Future Perfect Writers’ website.

Terms: Stories must be no longer than 1,000 words. They must be typed and double spaced, saved as a word document and emailed to, jukeboxstory@gmail.com by 12th February 2012. Remember to number pages and to include your name, email address and a phone number too.  Stories not adhering to these terms will not be considered. Successful submitters will be notified by 15th February. Please note, if your story is successful, we like the writer to be there on the night to hear your story read, so if you are unable to attend Juke Box Story reserves the right to make last minute changes to the line-up.
